I got this so that I was able to use the matching stroller for my infant and I’m so happy that I went ahead and got it because even though it was an extra expense the bassinet has proved well worth the money. It’s been a nice extra bed for her when we want to bring her outside with us or when we went on a trip. It is seriously so well-made in fact it was kind of frustrating to assemble because it’s meant to fit so tightly together. But with a few deep breaths and some patience I was able to get it put together and have loved it ever since. It folds flat and I’m able to slide it in the trunk of my sedan or even the backseat so that I’m able to easily bring it with me places. The fabric is really just so nice and the construction is very sturdyLove the bassinet and whole ypsi system. Integrates well with both the bassinet holder and the stroller.It was difficult to put together, however, and we had to physically bend the metal bars that keep it from collapsing in assembly. It took a lot of strength to bend and we were very worried it would break the bassinet. In the end it worked out okay.I'm very glad we purchased the bassinet accessory. Originally, we were not going to purchase it, but decided to when my little one got a heat rash on his legs from the car seat. We use the bassinet for walks, shopping, and visiting friends. I have also used it for diaper changes when away from home. I lay Skip Hop diaper changer in there and it makes for a clean and safe place to change diapers.
